REJECTED AT CLEARINGHOUSE CLAIM LEVEL - RENDERING PROVIDER NAME / PRIMARY IDENTIFIER IS MISSING OR INVALID

If you are billing to CPID#1741 Amerigroup Corporation they will deny electronic claims with a denial reason: REJECTED AT CLEARINGHOUSE CLAIM LEVEL - RENDERING PROVIDER NAME / PRIMARY IDENTIFIER IS MISSING OR INVALID

The reason you are getting this denial is because Loop 2000A PRV segement is on the claim, a rendering provider Loop is not expected. Amerigroup is stating that claims which contain both the billing provider taxonomy code and rendering provider will be rejected. RelayHealth will automatically remove Loop 2000A PRV segment when Loop 2310B or 2420A are present.

If you have any claims excluded with this exclusion reason for CPID#1741 please rebill the claims and RelayHealth will do the rest for you.
